Party in the Parks: Welcome
PARTY IN THE PARKS
Hosted by the City of Eugene and Eug Fun

After the first Party in the Parks I started to run the booths by myself. It was great experience for me because I got to learn how to engage with community members in person.

I designed the posters that we had at every event. The first poster asked which mediums community members most liked to receive information through. The second poster was added at the second event after feedback from community members. This poster had nine topics for community members to choose from, of which they would most want to hear about from us about.
They could interact with the posters by putting blue, purple, and green stickers under the categories for "yes," and orange for "no."

FINAL REPORT
Compiling data
After the events finished in late July, I compiled all of the engagements from the boards and created a final report for the 2019 Party in the Parks events. The City of Eugene will use this information to better communicate with community members and followers.
My previous experience with surveying and research helped me put together this report, but I learned so much more in the process. I learned how to engage with the public, effectively convey new information, and create appealing and compelling graphics.
